Russell T. Morris holds more than 15 years' expertise advising small to large corporations through critical change, stabilization and effective profit engineering processes. As President of CFO Partner, Mr. Morris heads daily operations and manages private sector consulting services. Prior to launching CFO Partner, Mr. Morris served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to many privately held firms. Region based Corporation via development and re-structuring of all corporate profit centers, implementing redesigned financial system frameworks, and defining division-level performance criteria; enabled expanded profit margins with significant overhead savings.
  • Structured and represented multi-million dollar commodity trade contracts for a Global Trade Corporation and an international law firm; collaborated with high level executives in Finland, Belgium, Canada, and the US as well as Russian Government Officials.
  • Developed and executed a comprehensive work-out strategy for a large privately-held Custom Home Developer facing insolvency; completed in-process contracts and avoided legal actions, bankruptcy filing, and carry-over debt.
  • Led a Mid-Sized Corporation through Chapter 11 filing, interfacing with attorneys, instituting real-time financial strategies to ensure projected cash flow and successfully negotiated millions of dollars of debt; company was released from bankruptcy protection within seven months.
Mr. Morris currently serves as a senior mentor for the George Mason Enterprise Center and Small Business Administration (SBA) Program and is a member of the Gerson Lehrman Group, Society of Industry Leaders, and Reuters Insight Expert Team.
